I'm a New York City based multi-hyphenate artist and proud theatre history nerd who first fell in love with musical theatre watching Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins. My childhood love for playing pretend led me straight to acting classes, community and regional theatre, and classical vocal training. My obsession with golden age musical theatre, Stephen Sondheim, and the latest brand new OBC recordings made a BFA in Musical Theatre the natural next step. 

 

While studying musical theatre at Indiana University I had the opportunity to take on challenging roles such as Clara in The Light in the Piazza, Margaret White in Carrie, Helen Bechdel in Fun Home, and The Witch in Into the Woods. I also have experience as a concert vocalist singing with The Cleveland Pops Orchestra in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio and with The American Pops Orchestra at Lincoln Center. I am a recipient of The Lotte Lenya Competition’s Emerging Talent Award, a National Finalist in The National Society of Arts & Letters National Drama Competition, and a Top 10 Finalist in The American Pops Orchestra’s NextGen National Competition. I’ve performed in various cabaret venues around New York City, including The Green Room 42, The Triad Theatre, and The Cutting Room (Duets with Natalie Weiss).

 

My passion for revitalizing and recontexctualizing Golden Age musical theatre led me to co-found Restoration Theatre Co., where I produce shows with the aim of making theatre history and dramaturgy more accessible. I am also a director dedicated to bold, boundary breaking ideas - like the production of Sweeney Todd I directed with a cast of entirely female and nonbinary performers with the exception of Judge Turpin (read more about it here!).

 

Additionally, my love for theatre extends to the social media sphere where I am a Creative Strategy Intern at And That’s Showbiz. I am a strong advocate for arts education and a proud teaching artist with Inside Broadway, I teach chess through storytelling with Story Time Chess, and I’ve been featured in Forbes for my Taylor Swift Walking Tour of NYC.
