I got to be a part of the album release concert for Manuel vs The Statue of Liberty, an "undocumented musical comedy" by David Davila and Noemi de la Puente. The original musical is about a new immigration law that requires all illegal immigrants to fight the Statue of Liberty in a high stakes boxing match for their green- cards. This winter I had the joy of being part of Miles Sternfeld's inventive reimagining of Sweeney Todd that commented on America's fascination with serial killers and our desensitization towards violence. This was my 4th production of Sweeney Todd (one of my favorite musicals of all time!), and my first time as vocal captain alongside the brilliant Lena Gabrielle! 

I am making my producing debut (and performing!) this August at The Green Room 42 with Stick it to The Man!: An Evening of Political Commentary Through The American Musical. This is the inaugural cabaret for Restoration Theatre Co., a company I co-founded to make theatre history and dramaturgy accessible and reinterpret classic musicals to examine how we can use the past to build the future of the art form.
